DUST

Dust is the community-managed mascot token associated with Aster, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange on BNB Smart Chain. The token originated from a community takeover in March 2026, carried out by members of the Aster community with the aim of creating a recognized cultural token representing Aster’s identity, separate from the protocol’s native token. Dust previously traded as a pair on Aster Perpetuals but was removed due to low trading volume during a market downturn. Following increased market activity, trading volume and community participation around Dust have risen. The token has no team allocation, no venture capital backing, and is managed entirely by its holder community. Its current function is limited to trading and community signaling rather than protocol-level utility such as staking or fee sharing.
